Schroth Therapy in Scoliosis Treatment
Scoliosis is a three-dimensional spinal curvature in which the spine bends sideways while also rotating around its own axis. Because of this three-dimensional nature, it is not treated as a simple postural problem. At our clinic, we apply the scoliosis-specific ISST Schroth approach. In children and adolescents, our priority is to slow the progression of the curvature; in adults, the focus is on supporting posture, trunk function and quality of life. As every curve pattern is different, each programme is individually planned.
